Assalamualaykum!
I am currently watching ASAP 20. And they are singing the songs of this movie, "The Second Chance". Actually, it is the second part because the first one was the "One More Chance". If you have watch the previous part of the movie, you will definitely cry more for this one. The main characters are Basha which played by Bea Alonzo, one of the most talented and beautiful actress of the country and Popoy played by John Lloyd Cruz, one of the handsome, talented actor of showbiz industry. They are really good together. I love them doing a project together. For how many years, at last, they're back together and I will definitely, absolutely watch this on cinemas this November 25. I'm planning to watch it with my hubby (I hope he will) because he's not fan of watching theater movies. Okay nevermind. This movie is called the Phenomenal Movie.
They interviewed some couples which had a Second chance in love. The one who touched me is the story of a Filipina woman and a Japanese man. They met in Japan and fell in love to each other but his father doesn't want her to him and its hurt her so bad. Therefore, they separated and she went back to the Philippines after that. After 23 years, they are in their 40s, I think, the guy searched for her and they found each other through Facebook. His dad died 3 years ago and he started searching for her. He asked her to go back to Japan and they met again. They got married ( think, she wasn't get married and maybe him? I don't know). And they started their way to road of FOREVER.
Anyway, will you still give someone a second chance even though he/ se hurts you a lot in the past? As a quote says: Its easy to forgive but really hard to forget. You can forgive all the shits he/ she did to you but forgetting everything is the hardest part, you'll end up remembering those shits. Maybe, we really need this both in order to move on and have peace of mind.
